17/11/2011 -  Leonids Meteor Shower, one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing an average of 40 meteors per hour at their peak. The shower itself has a cyclic peak every 33 years, where hundreds of meteors can be seen each hour, the last of which occurred in 2001. The Leonids get their name from the location of their radiant in the constellation Leo.
